Located approx. 30km outside Munich. Take the A8, Exit 96 Hofoldinger Forst, Turn left, direction Aying, Before Aying turn right at St 2078 towards Rosenheim, then follow for about 6 km. After Blindham, it will be on your left.

Petuel Playground
The park is located over the Petualtunnel of the Mittlerer Ring (between Belgradestr and Leopoldstr.). The playground is located in the middle of the park, but on the north side.
By public transportation:

U2/U3 Scheidplatz, then bus 154 to Barlachstr.
U2 Milbertshofen and then approx. 10-12 min walk.
U3/U6 Munchner Freiheit and then Bus 85, 123 to Schenkendorfstr. Süd or Bus 154 to Altenheim Schwabing

Driving:

Parking can be found at the north side of the park (closest to playground) at Gluthstr. Or Freiligrathstr.
South of the park, you can park on Barlachstr (limited parking though) or Klopstockstr.

Münchener Freiheit Park
The park is on the corner of Leopoldstrasse and Ungererstrasse, next to the bus depot.

Parking can be found on Leopoldstrasse or there is a parking area next to the park. The parking fee is around 2-3 Euros.
For public transportation - there are several buses that stop at Munchener Freiheit or take the U3/U6 to Munchener Freiheit.

Luitpold Park
Playground is next to Bamberger Haus

Exit the U3 from either Scheidplatz or Petuel Ring. I believe if you exit at Scheidplatz, you must go almost straight through the park to reach the playground. From Petuel Ring, take the elevator up to ground level. When you exit the elevator from Petuel Ring, go straight and cross Schleissheimer Strasse at the crosswalk - it's just past the taxis. Enter the park and follow the path on the right (you'll be going south parallel to Schleissheimer Strasse) until you reach the playground.
About 5-10 min. walk to park.
